Overnight incidents 31 January / 1 February 2023

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a skip on Cooperative Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley at 7:30pm. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:30pm on Mansfield Drive, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 7:55pm.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Edlington stations were called out to a two car road traffic collision at 7:35pm on High Street, Bentley, Doncaster. One person was extricated by firefighters. Crews left the scene at 8:20pm.

Parkway firefighters attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 8:10pm on Handsworth Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:25pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:15pm on Peggy Lane, Grenoside, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 10:45pm on Darley Close, Athersley South, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Lowedges firefighters were called out to a deliberate skip fire at 10:55pm on Westwick Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:15pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 1am on Wickfield Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 1:20am.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate fire involving fencing at 2:50am on Attercliffe Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 3:35am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 4:30am on Canklow Road, Canklow, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 4:50am.
