Overnight incidents 31 July – 1 August 2024

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a tyre and rubbish at 8pm on Brinsworth Lane, Brinsworth, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:55pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a fire involving a sofa and rubbish on Theodore Road, Instoneville, Doncaster at 8:45pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 9:25pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to an accidental garden fire which had spread to trees at 9:25pm on Motehall Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:50pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:30pm on Adwick Lane, Toll Bar, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick stations attended the incident. They left at 9:50pm.

Firefighters from Birley station attended a deliberate fire involving household waste at 9:30pm on Long Acre View, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:55pm.

A garden shed was deliberately set on fire at 11:20pm on Stonyford Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. The fire had also spread to another shed and workshop. Firefighters from Barnsley and Tankersley station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 1:10am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate shed fire at 1:45am on Huntsbank Tye Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 2:40am.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 4:05am on Beale Way, Parkgate, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 4:15am.

Two vehicles were deliberately set on fire at 5:45am on Paddock Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 7:20am.
