Overnight incidents 4/5 February 2025

One fire engine and one small fires unit attended a wheelie bin next to shipping container on Keresworth Road, Dodworth, Barnsley after a call was received at 6.22pm. One fire bucket and wildfire knapsacks were used to extinguish the fire. The incident had been dealt with by 8.33pm.
One fire engine attended a vehicle fire in a field near Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham after a call was received at 6.56pm. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire, and the incident had been dealt with by 7.21pm.
One fire engine attended a van fire after a call was received at 7.36pm. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire, and the incident was dealt with by 8.19pm. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
One fire engine attended a car fire after a call was received at 1.42am. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, and the incident had been dealt with by 2.37am.
One fire engine attended two wheelie bin fires in the subways of Ickles roundabout, Templeborough, Rotherham after a call was received at 3.30am. One hose reel was used to extinguish both fires and the incident had been dealt with by 3.54am.
