Overnight incidents 4/5 July 2022

Tankersley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving tyres at 7:15pm on Sheffield Road, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:55pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Acorn Way, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. The crew came away at 7:45pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a rubbish fire on Lancaster Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley at 7:35pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7:50pm.

A fire crew from Aston station attended a small deliberate fire in woodland at 8pm on Church Lane, Aston, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:20pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:10pm on Laithes Lane, Athersley South, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate grassland fire at 9pm on Everill Gate Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:35pm on Long Lane, Loxley, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rivelin station attended the incident. They left at 11:50pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fence fire at 11:05pm on Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 11:55pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a deliberate fire in a ginnel involving an old bed frame at 12:20am on Wensley Close, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:35am.
