Overnight incidents 4/5 May 2023

Two fire crews from Dearne station attended a fire in a derelict property at 8:35pm on Cooperative Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 9:35pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:30pm on Beacon Way, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:05pm on Gilroyd Lane, Dodworth, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 10:45pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:20pm on Cantilupe Crescent, Aston, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:50pm.

Two fire crews from Rotherham and Dearne stations attended an accidental fire involving pallets at 10:45pm on Tenter Street, Thornhill, Rotherham. The crews came away at 1:10am.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a deliberate grassland fire at 11:05pm on Windermere Close, Mexborough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:30pm.

Several fire crews attended an accidental flat fire at 11:35pm on Hoyle Street, Sheffield. Luckily there were no reports of any casualties. The crews came away at 12:55am.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 1:50am on Jenkin Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 2:20am.

Adwick firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 4am on Langdale Road, Carcroft, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 4:20am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 4:25am on Nursery Road, North Aston, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 5am.
