Overnight incidents 7/8 March 2024

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 7:40pm on Hawthorn Avenue, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 8pm.

Firefighters from Maltby station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:55pm on Glencairn Close, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on Daresbury Place, Sheffield. Two fire crews from Central station attended the incident. They left at 9:40pm.

Firefighters from Central and Parkway stations were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:05pm on Queens Road, Highfield, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11:30pm.

Four fire crews from Parkway, Central and Birley stations attended a premise fire at 11:40pm on Vikinglea Road, Sheffield. The fire was accidental and was in the roof area. There were no casualties. Crews left the scene at 2:05am.

Adwick firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving an LGV at 5:20am on the hard shoulder of the A1M, Junction 38 -37, southbound. The crew left the scene at 5:55am
