Overnight incidents 7/8 May 2025

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Glencairn Close, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended an accidental rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Netherthorpe Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:35pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Bridge Street, Thorne, Doncaster at 7:30pm. The crew left the scene at 7:45pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on a skate part at 8:40pm on Anchorage Lane, Sprotbrough, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a deliberate fire involving a tree at 9:35pm on Linden Walk, Toll Bar, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:50pm on Handsworth Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 10:15pm.

Three fire crews from Rivelin, Dearne and Elm Lane stations attended a deliberate fire involving furniture in a field at 9:50pm on Middlewood Drive, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 10:20pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 12:35am on Westwick Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Lowedges station attended the incident. They left at 1:15am.

Tankersley firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a garden shed at 1:45am on Fir Tree, Thurgoland, Barnsley. The crew came away at 2:40am.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate bin fire at 5am on Laithes Lane, Athersley South, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 5:10am.
