Overnight incidents 9/10 January 2024

Two fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Park Road, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 7:55pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:10pm on Elsworth Close, Balby Bridge, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 10pm.

Parkway and Birley stations were called out to deliberate rubbish fire on allotments at Ashpool Close, Sheffield at 11:05pm. The crews came away at 12:10am.

Four fire crews from Doncaster, Edlington and Adwick stations attended a premise fire at 12:20am on Balby Road, Balby, Doncaster. Two people suffered smoke inhalation and were left in the care of paramedics. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 3:20am.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12:25am on Barnsley Road, Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 1:15am.

Firefighters from Parkway, Central and Birley stations were called out to an accidental premise fire at 1:05am on Greenwood Avenue, Sheffield. There were no reports of any casualties. Crews left the scene at 4:05am.
