Overnight incidents 9/10 January

A vehicle was accidentally on fire yesterday evening at 7:55pm on the hard shoulder of the A1 at junction 38 northbound. Firefighters from Adwick station attended.  They left the scene at 8:45pm.

A crew from Doncaster station were called out to a number of tyres on fire which had been started deliberately. The crew were called at 10:05pm to Doncaster Road, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster.  They left at 10:40pm.

At 10:50pm a load of rubbish was deliberately set on fire on Linden Grove, Edlington, Doncaster. Edlington station attended and used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 11:15pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 3:55am this morning on Wright Crescent, Wombwell, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended.  They left at 4:30am.

Firefighters from Rossington station attended a vehicle fire on Central Drive, New Rossington, Doncaster at 4:50am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 5:35am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5:10am this morning on Radburn Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. Doncaster firefighters attended. They left at 5:50am.
