Overnight incidents 9/10 March 2021

Cudworth firefighters attended a fire in woods at 7:10pm on Cone Lane, Silkstone Common, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

At 7:20pm firefighters from Central station were called out to a deliberate grass fire on Maltravers Road, Sheffield. They left the scene at 7:30pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:25pm on City Road, Sheffield. A fire crew from Central station attended the incident. They came away at 8:40pm.

Two skips were deliberately set on fire on Bow Bridge Close, Templeborough, Rotherham at 8:40pm. Rotherham firefighters attended the incident. They left the scene at 10pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire on Oak Road, Mexborough, Doncaster at 9:15pm. A brazier fire had spread to a bench and fence. Firefighters came away at 9:40pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:40pm on Coronation Road, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:15pm.

A Ford Mondeo car was deliberately set on fire at 3:05am on Edward Street, Hoyland, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They came away at 3:50am.

At 5:15am this morning firefighters from Edlington station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Todmorden Close, Denaby Main, Doncaster. They came away at 5:35am.
