Overnight incidents 9/10 October 2024

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:15pm on Hartcliff Avenue, Penistone, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 8:25pm on Lichford Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:25pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 9:20pm on Shirley Road, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:40pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:30pm on Laughton Road, Dinnington, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:45pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 11pm on Shady Side, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 11:50pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate skip fire at 12:30pm on Beale Way, Parkgate, Rotherham. The crew came away at 1:05am.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:35am on High Street, Ecclesfield, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 1am.

Two fire crews from Central station attended a deliberate rubbish fire in a bin store at 2:50am on Rockingham Street, Sheffield. The crews came away at 3:05am.
