Weekend incidents 1/3 July 2022

Friday 1 July

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 8:30pm on Store Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:55pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire which had spread from Brazier to a shed at 9:30 on The Crescent, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:10pm.

Saturday 2 July

A van was deliberately set on fire at 12:25am on Badger Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 1:15am.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate car fire at 1:25am on Derbyshire Court, Armthorpe, Doncaster. The crew came away at 2:15am.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a vehicle on Cawdor Road, Sheffield at 1:30am. The crew left the scene at 2:05am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 3:25am on Langdale Drive, Scawthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 3:50am.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a deliberate car fire at 4:30am on Clay Lane West, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 5:05am.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a motorbike at 11:40am on Engine Lane Close, Shafton, Barnsley. The crew came away at 12:25pm.

Two fire crews from Doncaster and Parkway stations attended an accidental fire involving a car on M18 southbound, J1 to J2 at 12:15pm. The crews left the scene at 12:45pm.

Firefighters from Central and Parkway station were called to a premise on Magpie Grove, Sheffield at 7:30pm. The fire was an accidental fire in the kitchen, an item had caught fire on the hob and spread to a microwave. The crews left the scene at 8:20pm.

Maltby firefighters attended an accidental fire involving wood chippings at 11:55pm on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. The crew came away at 12:55am.

Sunday 3 July

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 3:10am on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 4:25am.
