Weekend incidents 15/17 October 2021

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 10:20pm (Friday) on Town Lane, Wingfield, Rotherham. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 5:40am (Saturday) on Park Crescent, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 6:20am.

Three fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended a premise on Farm Road, Kendray, Barnsley at 9:25am (Saturday) where an oven was involved in a small fire. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 10am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:10pm (Saturday) in a carpark on Biscay Way, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 11:05pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate van fire at 12:30am (Sunday) on Furlong Road, Harlington, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 1:20am.

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 3:05am (Sunday) on Hastilar Road South, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 3:55am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 3:05am (Sunday) on Town Lane, Wingfield, Rotherham. The crew came away at 3:50am.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate car fire at 9:10am (Sunday) on Shirland Place, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:40pm.

Three fire crews from Barnsley and Tankersley stations were called out to a premise fire at 12:35pm (Sunday) on Market Street, Penistone, Barnsley. The fire is believed to be an accidental fire involving a tumble dryer. The crew came away at 1:40pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 5:25pm (Sunday) on Manor Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 5:45pm.
