Weekend incidents 16/17 September 2023

Saturday 16 September

Elm Lane firefighters were called to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:04am on Milnrow Row, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:57am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 2:27am on School Street, Hemingfield, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 3:15am.

Aston Park firefighters were called at 11:58am to a car fire on the M1 northbound, junction 32-33. The crew came away at 12:54pm.

Multiple bags of household waste were deliberately set on fire near woods at 3:20pm on Bolton Street, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 3:45pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Colley Drive, Sheffield at 6:12pm after a smoke alarm alerted neighbours to an overheated slow cooker that had been left on all day. The crew ventilated the property and left the scene at 6:37pm.

Sunday 17 September

Askern firefighters were called to a deliberate vehicle fire at 1:20am on Flashley Carr Lane, Moss, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:53am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 5:41pm in Longley Park, Crowder Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 6:34pm.
