Weekend incidents 18/20 August 2023

Friday 18 August

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 11:35pm on Dunns Dale, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 12:05am.

Saturday 19 August

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:05am on Attlee Close Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 12:30am.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 4:15am on Gaunt Drive, Sheffield. The crew came away at 4:40am.

Askern firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a car at 5:40pm on Grange Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

Two fire crews from Aston and Birley station attended an accidental tractor fire at 5:45pm on Doctor Lane, Harthill, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:15pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11pm on Darley Avenue, Ward Green, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 12:15am.

Sunday 20 August

Lowedges firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 1:15am on Little Norton Drive, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 2:25am.

A mobility scooter was deliberately set on fire at 1:55am on Lamb Lane, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 2:25am.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to an accidental car fire at 3:20pm on Darnall Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 3:50pm.

A van was accidentally on fire at 4:40pm on Hawkhill Lane, Thurcroft, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 5:30pm.
