Weekend incidents 2/4 December 2022

Friday 2 December 

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Barnsley stations attended an accidental chimney fire at 10:45pm on Midland Road, Royston, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 11:50pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:25pm on Clifton Hill, Conisbrough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 1:05am.

Saturday 3 December

Parkway firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 12:50am on Castledale Croft, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:45am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 3:25pm on Vicar Lane, Woodhouse, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 3:55pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley station attended an accidental fire involving a shed at 6:35pm on Coronation Road, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:05pm.

Sunday 4 December

Three fire crews from Lowedges, Central and Birley Moor stations were called out to a bin chute on fire in a storage area at flats on Batemoor Road, Sheffield at 8:20am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 10:45am.
