Weekend incidents 2/4 February 2024

Saturday 3 February

Barnsley firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a shipping container at 1.30am on Nursery Street, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:20am.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a premise fire at 5:30pm on Humber Court, Skellow, Doncaster. The accidental fire was in the kitchen. The crew came away at 6:20pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 7:30pm on Old Dairy Close, Thorne, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 9pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Tankersley stations were called out to an accidental premise fire at 11:25pm on Windsor Avenue, Kexbrough, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 2:50am.

Sunday 4 February

Firefighters from Central station attended a kitchen fire at a premise on Sunny Bank, Broomhall, Sheffield at 1:30am. The fire was accidental. Crews left the scene at 2:45am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire in a garage at 2:20am on Harborough Avenue, Sheffield. The crew came away at 2:50am.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 3:30am on Locke Street, Kingstone, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 4:25am.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate car fire at 5:10pm on Stonecliffe Walk, Sheffield. The crew came away at 6pm.
