Weekend incidents 2 – 4 July 2021

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations were called to an empty flat at 10:35pm (Friday) on Willington Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.  The crews left the scene at 11:50pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11pm (Friday) on Springwell Lane, Alverley, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident.  They left the scene at 11:30pm.

Firefighters from parkway station were called out to a deliberate car fire at 4:15am (Saturday) on Normancroft Way, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 4:45am.

Three fire engines from Elm Lane, Tankersley and Rivelin stations attended an accidental premise fire at 11:50am (Saturday) on Berry Holme Close, Sheffield. The fire was caused by the hob being left on. Luckily no one was inside at the time. Crews left the incident at 12:25pm.

A shed was deliberately set on fire at 3:55pm (Saturday) on Hinde House Lane, Sheffield. Elm Lane firefighters attended the incident. They came away at 5:05pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to an accidental vehicle fire at 5:15pm (Saturday) on Longley Avenue West, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 5:50pm.

A Ford Focus car was deliberately set on fire at 2:50am (Sunday) on Springwood Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 3:20am.

Four fire crews from Barnsley, Central, Rivelin and Parkway stations were called out to a deliberate derelict building fire at 4:30pm (Sunday) on Keresford Close, Barnsley. The fire crews left the scene at 7:20pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 6pm (Sunday) on Lawn Road, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left the scene at 6:15pm
