Weekend incidents 2/4 June 2023

Friday 2 June

Maltby firefighters were called out to an accidental shed fire at 8:40pm on Wood Lane, Wickersley, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:45pm.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Thorne stations attended an industrial unit on fire at 9:20pm on Wroot Road, Finningley, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 11:35pm

Saturday 3 June

Rivelin and Central firefighters were called out to an accidental premise fire at 12:25am on Wellfield Close, Sheffield. The crews came away at 2:45am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 2:20am on Broadway, Dunscroft, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left at 2:40am.

Several fire crews were called out to a wildfire at 3:25pm on Agden Side Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 10:55pm.

Stocksbridge firefighters were called out to an accidental vehicle fire at 7:10pm on Rails Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:15pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:30pm on Lobwood, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 12:45am.

Sunday 4 June

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:05am on Radburn Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 12:45am.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 2:10am on Sunningdale Mount, Sheffield. The crew came away at 3:05am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 3:05am on Shortwood Lane, Clayton, Doncaster. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 4:05am.
