Weekend incidents 27/29 June 2025

Saturday 28 June

Two fire crews from Central station attended an accidental fire involving a planter which then spread to external pipes of a property on Hawley Street, Sheffield at 10:10am. The crews left the scene at 12:35pm.

Firefighters from Dearne, Edlington and Barnsley station were called out to a premise fire at 4:25pm on Monk Terrace, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. There was on casualty with smoke inhalation. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 8:40pm.

Sunday 29 June

Edlington firefighters attended an accidental garden fire involving decking and bar at 1:45am on Holmes Carr Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew came away at 2:40am.

A shipping container was deliberately set on fire at 2:40pm on Old Mill Lane, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 3:05pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended an accidental car fire at 3:45pm on Albion Drive, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 5pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 4:20pm on Tannery Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 4:45pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to an accidental garden fire which had spread to a shed and fence at 6:45pm on Barnsley Road, Cudworth, Barnsley. The crew came away at 7:55pm.
