Weekend incidents 27/30 August 2021

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:10am (Saturday) on Fir Tree Avenue, Auckley, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 1:15am.

Fire crews from Rotherham, Maltby, Dearne and Aston stations were called out to a commercial building at 12:25am (Saturday) on Ridgeway, Herringthorpe, Rotherham.  A storage room was involved in fire. It is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 2:25am.

Two fire crews from Doncaster and Edlington stations attended a deliberate garage fire at 6:20pm (Saturday) on Mere Lane, Armthorpe, Doncaster. The fire crews left the scene at 7:55pm.

Five fire crews from Central, Rivelin, Rotherham, Parkway and Birley Moor stations were called out to a large industrial fire at 7:45pm (Saturday) on Effingham Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 11:35pm.

A garden shed was accidentally on fire at 2:40am (Monday) on Cavendish Road, Holmes, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They came away at 3:25am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane, Parkway, Central and Rivelin stations attended a fire at a disused cafe at 6:55pm (Monday) on Shepcote Lane, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 10:10pm.
