Weekend incidents 29/31 August 2025

Friday 29 August

Several fire crews attended a derelict building on Badley Moor Lane, Clifton, Rotherham at 10:55pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Fire crews left the scene at 3:20am. Crews returned the next day at 10:45am due to the fire reigniting.

Firefighters from Doncaster, Edlington and Adwick stations were called out to an accidental fire in a garage at 11:05pm on Attlee Avenue, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crews came away at 1:20am.

Saturday 30 August

Three fire crews from Rotherham and Maltby stations attended a premise fire at 2:55pm on Hill Close, Brecks, Rotherham. Firefighters rescued a woman from the property, who was left in the care of paramedics and ambulance crew. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 5pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 10:50pm on Lichford Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 11:25pm.

Sunday 31 August

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended an accidental car fire at 1:50am on Musgrave Crescent, Sheffield. The crew came away at 2:20am.

A car was accidentally on fire at 5pm on Hillcrest Road, South Anston, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 5:35pm.
