On Friday at 08:48pm, crews were called to a fire on Mansel Crescent in Sheffield. This was a brick built garden shed that was on fire. The fire was deemed to have started accidentally. Crews from Rivelin left the scene at around 11:00pm.
In the early hours of Saturday morning at 01:58am, firefighters attended a fire on a first floor flat on Simmonite Road in Kimberworth. Occupants were outside of the flat upon arrival of the crews, having been woken up to the smoke alarms going off. The fire had started accidentally. Rotherham, Elm Lane and Tankersley crews left the scene at 03:36am.
At 03:03am Saturday morning, crews were called to a small vehicle fire on Newstead Road in Athersley North. This was a Honda VRV well alight. Firefighters from Cudworth left the scene at 03:37am and deemed the incident to have been started deliberately.
Firefighters from Doncaster were called to an incident on Shaftholme Road in Arksey on Saturday at 03:55pm. This was a car that had been set alight. Crews left the scene at 05:22pm.
At 11:04pm on Saturday night, crews attended a fire at a property on Midhope Lane in Sheffield. This fire had started after some logs next to a log burner had caught fire. Luckily there was nobody in the property at the time of the fire. Firefighters from Barnsley and Rivelin left the property at 00:23am.
In the early hours of Sunday morning at 03:33am, Dearne firefighters attended an incident on St Helens Street in Elsecar. This was three vehicles well alight, two cars and one van. Two nearby properties were affected by the fire with windows and drain pipes damaged. Crews left at 04:53am and deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.
At 11:34am on Sunday morning, firefighters were called to an incident on Station Road in Lundwood. This was a small scrambler bike with a small amount of rubbish on the top of the bike that has been set alight. Crews from Cudworth left the scene at 12:05pm.
On Sunday afternoon at 12:37pm, firefighters from Doncaster were called to a flat fire on Broxholme Lane in Wheatley. This was a tray left in the oven containing fat. The occupant had safely left property after the smoke had filled the flat and set off the smoke alarm. The fire was deemed to have started accidentally.
