Weekend incidents 3/5 February 2023

Friday 3 February

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:35pm on Edderthorpe Lane, Darfield, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 10:10pm.

Three fire crews from Barnsley Dearne and Tankersley stations attended a small fire at a premise on Clifford Street, Cudworth, Barnsley at 9:40pm. It was an accidental fire and involved fairy lights. The crews left the scene at 12:20am.

Several fire crews attended a large fire at a scrap yard on Boulder Bridge Lane, Carlton, Barnsley at 10:10pm. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews came away at around 4am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 11:10pm on Sankey Square, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 11:50pm.

Saturday 4 February

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 2:20am on Great North Road, Woodfields, Doncaster. The crew came away at 2:45am.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire at 11:15pm on Elton Road, Sunnyside, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Sunday 5 February

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 4:25pm on Cradock Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 4:50pm.
