Weekend incidents 3/5 January 2025

Friday 3 January

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 9:05pm on Rackford Road, North Anston, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 9:55pm.

Saturday 4 January

Central firefighters were called out to a fire in a vacant commercial premise at 3:45pm on Eyre Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 4:30pm.

Sunday 5 January

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate van fire at 12am on Rose Place, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew came away at 12:40am.

A car was accidentally on fire at 8:40am on Tyler Street, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 9:55am.

Three fire crews from Birley, Parkway and Central stations attended a fire at a premise on Delves Road, Sheffield at 9am. One occupant was led out of the premise by firefighters. The accidental fire involved cooking. Crews left the scene at 10:15am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 6:30pm on Ravencarr Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:15pm.
