Weekend incidents 31 January to 2 February

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 11:40pm on Friday night. Cudworth station attended the incident on Park View, Royston, Barnsley. They left at 12:30am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a transit van on fire at 12:10am on Saturday morning on Concept Court, Manvers Rotherham. They left at 12:45am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

At 1am on Saturday morning Doncaster firefighters were called out to a Ford Escort car on Sarrius court, Cantely, Doncaster which had been set on fire deliberately. The crew left at 1:25am.

Firefighters from Adwick station were called out to a car which had been deliberately set on fire on Northfield Avenue, Toll Bar, Doncaster at 1:50am on Saturday. The crew left at 2:10am.

An Audi A3 was deliberately set on fire at 3am on Sunday on Harvest Avenue, Thurcroft, Rotherham. Firefighters from Malty station were called out to it. They left the scene at 3:45am.

Three fire engines from Doncaster and Edlington stations were called out to a terraced house on Dockin Hill Road, Doncaster at 3:15am on Sunday morning. There are no reports of any casualties. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 4:10am.

Adwick firefighters were called out to a car fire on Barnsley Road, Hickleton, Doncaster at 11:15am on Sunday morning. The fire is thought to have started accidentally. The crew left at 12:40pm.
