Weekend incidents 4/6 October 2024

Friday 4 October

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:10pm on Raley Street, Kingstone, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 11:50pm.

Saturday 5 October

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 6:25am on Market Place, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:05am.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended an accidental vehicle fire at 7:50am on the M1 southbound between Junction 33 and 32. The crew came away at 8:15am.

Thorne firefighters were called out to an accidental vehicle fire at 11am on Ings Road, Bentley, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:40am.

A fire crew from Rotherham station attended an accidental fire involving a wheelie bin and decking at 1:40pm on South Street, Greasbrough, Rotherham. The crew came away at 2pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 6pm on Milgate Street, Royston, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 6:25pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham and Maltby stations were called out to two caravans which had been deliberately set on fire at 7:25pm on White Lee Road, Seinton, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 8;35pm.

Parkway firefighters attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 9:40pm on Seaton Close, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10:10pm.

Sunday 6 October

Two fire crews from Dearne and Rotherham stations were called out to a deliberate car fire at 1am on Cobb Drive, Swinton, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 2:30am.
