Edlington firefighters were called to respond to a fire involving a bin store on Tickhill Road in Maltby at around 7.30pm on Saturday (6 February). The fire was out on the arrival of fire crews, who left the scene shortly after.

Cudworth and Barnsley firefighters responded to a fire on Highstone Lane in Ward Green at around 10.50am on Sunday morning. The fire involved a fridge inside a takeaway. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premises to extinguish the fire. No one was hurt in the incident. Crews left the scene at around 12.30pm.
