Friday 7 March

Three fire crews from Dearne, Cudworth and Barnsley stations attended an accidental fire involving a road sweeper in a barn at 10:15pm on Everill Gate Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 11:20pm.

Saturday 8 March

Firefighters from Lowedges, Birley and Central station were called out to a premise fire at 11:35am on Mawfa Avenue, Sheffield. The accidental fire involved a tumble dryer in the utility room. Crews came away at 1:40pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12pm on Leys Lane, Dinnington, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 12:30pm.

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley attended a premise on Norcroft, Ward Green, Barnsley at 3pm. The accidentally fire involved a scooter battery. Firefighters rescued a dog from the premise. Crews left the scene at 4:10pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 5:20pm on St Withold Court, Thurcroft, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 5:50pm.

Tankersley station attended a deliberate fire involving a clothes collection bin at 6:30pm on Hoyland Road, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew came away at 6:50pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended an accidental car fire at 6:55pm on Brampton Bierlow, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

Three fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations were called out to an accidental bin chute fire at Moorfields flats, Shalesmoor, Sheffield at 8pm. The fire didn’t affect the flats. Crews left the scene at 8:15pm.

Sunday 9 March

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12:50am on Ledsham Road, Broom, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 2:10am.

Aston firefighters were called out to a detached garage on fire at 11:55am on Fairways, Wickersley, Rotherham.  The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left the scene at 1:05pm.
