Weekend incidents 9/11 June 2023

Saturday 10 June

Thorne firefighters were called out to a an accidental vehicle fire at 12:20am on Bull Moor Road, Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 1:30am.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a bus shelter and bin on fire at 1am on Bolton Street, Denaby Main, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 1:20am.

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 3:10am on Bell Bank View, Worsbrough, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 4:40am.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate fire in a garden shed at 3:15am on Ramsden Road, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 4:05am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 4:30am on Gresley Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Lowedges station attended the incident. They left at 5:20am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 6:15pm on Laithes Lane, Athersley South, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7pm.

Sunday 11 June

Two vehicles were deliberately set on fire at 2:35am on Firshill Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 3:25am.

Firefighters from Stocksbridge station attended a deliberate van fire at 9:45am on Mortimer Road, Midhopestones, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:30am.

Lowedges firefighters were called out to an accidental fire in woodland at 12:20pm on Blacka Moor, Hathersage Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:50pm.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a shed on fire at 12:40pm on Brearley Drive, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 2pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham, Rivelin and Parkway stations attended a premise fire at 1:40pm on Edmund Road, Sheffield. The accidental fire was in the kitchen area. There are no reports of any casualties. The crews left the scene at 2:40pm.

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 4pm on Bawtry Road, Bessacarr, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 6:35pm.
