Firefighters from Cudworth, Dearne, Tankersley, Barnsley and Central attended a derelict building fire last night (Tuesday 13 August).
The crews were called at 6.33pm to the incident – which was at a derelict pub on Church Street, Wombwell.
Breathing apparatus wearers used hose reel and main jets to tackle the blaze.
Nobody was injured during the fire – which was out just before 8pm – and it is thought to have been started deliberately.
