Two fire engines are parked up on an area of farm land, on a hill. The weather is dull and it appears to be in the late evening. Two firefighters can be seen in the distance, walking between the two fire engines.

Overnight incidents – 20/21 September

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Alma Road, Moorgate, at 9.26pm. Upon arrival they found a mattress alight on some waste land. This was dealt with by 9.40pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Tankersley were called to Wood Royd Road, Sheffield, at 11.14pm. Upon arrival they found a park bench well alight. This was dealt with by 11.30pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to Ironside Road, Sheffield, at 0.44am. Upon arrival they found a ford focus that had been damaged by fire. The blaze was out on arrival, due to local residents using buckets to put it out. Crews left the scene at 1.05am and it is thought this was started deliberately using petrol.
