Overnight incidents 21/22 June 2022

Stocksbridge firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 7:05pm on Royston Lane, Carlton, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a grassland fire on Midhurst Road, Sheffield at 7:15pm. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew came away at 8:30pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate grassland fire at 7:25pm on Golden Smithies Lane, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:05pm.

A shed was accidentally on fire at 7:25pm on Park View, Greasbrough, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham and Tankersley station attended the incident. The fire had also spread to a garage. The crews left the scene at 10:35pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 7:45pm on Station Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth station were called out to a grassland fire at 8:20pm on Fish Dam Lane, Carlton, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 9pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire which had spread to a fence at 9:20pm on Manse Farm Mews, Cudworth, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 10:30pm on Mill Close, Templeborough, Rotherham. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 11:05pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 10:35pm on Gordon Road, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:50pm.

A fire crew from Rotherham station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire on Rother Road, Canklow, Rotherham at 2:10am. The crew came away at 2:35am.

Three fire crews from Central and Parkway stations were called out to an industrial bin which had been deliberately set on fire at 6:05am on Callow Drive, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 6:25am.
