Overnight incidents – 24/25 October

Firefighters from Central and Parkway were called to Beldon Close, Sheffield, at 8.40pm. Upon arrival they found a faulty wood burner outside a property that was leaking fuel and, in turn, billowing smoke into the house. The fire was also beginning to spread to the internal walls of the property. This was dealt with by 9.51pm.

Firefighters from Maltby were called to Cedric Crescent, Thurcroft, at 2.52am. Upon arrival they found a car, parked directly outside a property, well alight. This was dealt with by 3.38am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
