Three fire engines from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Tankersley stations were called to a house fire on Bower Lane in Sheffield on Sunday evening at 8:30pm.
When fire crews arrived at the detached house, all three occupants were already safely outside.
The fire, which started at the boiler in the bathroom, had already spread to the loft and roof area of the house.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to put the fire out.
Crews left the scene at 10:30pm.
