A garden shed set alight due to the heat from a nearby chiminea yesterday (Sunday 7 April).
Crews from Thorne and Doncaster were called to a property on Junction Road, Stainforth, at 0.12am – afer the shed fire had spread to a nearby car and caravan.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire – which had been dealt with by 1.10am.
Nobody was injured in the incident but officers noted that the incident provides a timely reminder, with warmer weather approaching, to be careful with things such as chimeneas, fire pits and barbeques.
