Crews from Adwick, Askern, Thorne and Parkway attended an incident on Thursday 10 August at 1:42pm on Grove Place, Balby Bridge in Doncaster.

The incident involved a fire in a bin store. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus successfully extinguished the fire with hose reels.

A woman and young girl were taken to hospital for precautionary, routine checks. A small number of flats were also evacuated as a precaution.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Crews began to leave the scene at 3:02pm.
