Elm Lane and Central firefighters fitted smoke alarms to a property after a a pan full of hot oil caught fire in Sheffield.

The blaze on Wallings Road started at around 9pm on Saturday, with the man who lived in the property oblivious to the fact the pan was on fire. Luckily he was not hurt in the incident.

Hot oil pans should never be left unattended.
