Firefighters from Rivelin were called to a fire near the Sheffield Ski Village last night (Monday 3 June) – at around 11.38pm.

Upon arrival they found, and extinguished, a small camp fire that had been left.

The crew spent around half an hour dealing with the incident, leaving just after midnight.

Nobody was injured but it is thought the fire was started deliberately – with a group of young people spotted leaving the scene.
