Fire crews were called out to an industrial unit fire on Retford Road, Woodhouse Mill in Rotherham in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At 12:45am, three fire engines attended the scene from Aston, Parkway and Birley Moor. On arrival, fire fighters tackled the blaze caused by a sanding machine that had caught fire. The fire had spread to the ducting causing smoke logging throughout the premises.

The fire was successfully extinguished and thankfully there were no injuries. Fire fighters left the scene just before 2am.
