Fire crews help with flooding in Doncaster

At 7:10am on Sunday morning four fire crews were called out to Fishlake in Doncaster to reports of flooding in the area.

Crews from Thorne, Aston Park, Adwick and Lowedges stations attended the scene where a river had burst it bank.

A number of roads were flooded.  Crews helped and assisted people who had driven or walked into the flood water.

Police closed a number of roads to prevent anyone else getting into trouble.

Firefighters came away at 12 noon.
