Firefighters from Doncaster were called to a fire on Northfield Lane, Barnby Dun, yesterday (Thursday 4 July).

The call came in at 11.02pm and upon arrival the crew found a car well alight – with the whole vehicle fully involved in fire.

The incident had been dealt with by 11.24pm. It is thought the fire was started deliberately and that the vehicle involved had been dumped, stripped and set alight.

The make and model of the car were unidentifiable.
