Firefighters rescue dog trapped underground for 3 days

Birley Moor firefighters have rescued a dog stuck that was stuck underground for three days.

Waffles, a two-year-old Jack Russell, got trapped down a hole in woods near Glasshouse Lane, Sheffield.

On Thursday (10 March), blue watch firefighters spent more than three hours digging the free the dog, who was then reunited with its owners.

Another dog had helped to find Waffles by scent, helping firefighters to locate the animal.
