Four cows rescued from slurry

Four fire crews attended an animal rescue at 5am on Monday morning at High Levels Bank in Thorne, Doncaster.

Four cows were stuck in slurry and unable to get out.

Firefighters set up an inflatable walkway and attached harnesses to the cows which enabled the firefighters to pull the cows to safety.

All four cows were successfully rescued and after a few minutes were all able to stand and made a full recovery.

The fire crews left the scene at 7:20am.
