Firefighters have released a man who was trapped after his car collided with a wall on Sunday evening.

Crews from Cudworth and Barnsley were called to the incident, on Rotherham Road, Monk Bretton, just after 9pm on Sunday.

Firefighters used cutting gear to remove the roof from the car, and assisted ambulance crews in rescuing a man in his 20s on a spine board.
