Overnight incidents 17/18 December 2020

Two fire crews from Tankersley and Dearne stations were called out to an accidental chip pan fire at 7:05pm on Queens Way, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 8pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:35pm on Avenue Road, Instoneville, Doncaster. A fire crew from Adwick station attended the incident. They left the scene at 8:05pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:30pm on Kirton Lane, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew came away at 10:45pm.

Two fire crews from Central station were called out to a premise fire at 11pm on Fleury Rise, Sheffield. A pan had been left on the cooker and burnt dry. A woman was helped out of the property. This was an accidental fire. The crew left the scene at 11:35pm.

At 12:55am two fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended a road traffic collision. One car was on its roof and one man was trapped. Firefighters extricated the casualty and left him with the ambulance crew. The fire crew left the scene at 1:45am.
