Overnight incidents 1/2 May 2023

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a settee at 8:05pm on Middlecliffe Lane, Middlecliffe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:30pm.

Two fire crews from Askern and Adwick stations attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:05pm on High Street, Askern, Doncaster. The crews came away at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:25pm on Buck Wood, Gleadless Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:45pm on Woodland Drive, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a wheelie bin which was accidentally on fire at 12am on Harlington Court, Denaby Main, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 12:15pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended an accidental rubbish fire at 12:05am on Wellgate Place, Wellgate, Rotherham. The crew came away at 12:15am.

A moped was deliberately set on fire at 2:35am on Ferham Road, Holmes, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 2:55am.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 3:30am on Carr Side Lane, Hatfield, Doncaster. The crew came away at 4:30am.

Two caravans were deliberately set on fire at 3:35am on Burton Road, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth and Barnsley stations attended the incident. They left at 5am.
