Weekend incidents 28 April to 1 May 2023

Friday 28 April

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Danewood Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:30pm.

Saturday 29 April

Three fire crews from Central and Birley Moor stations were called out to a deliberate outhouse on fire at 12:10am on Manor Laith Road, Sheffield. The crews came away at 2:15am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:50am on Cambridge Street, Clifton, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 1:20am.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 4:10am on Hound Hill Lane, Worsbrough. Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 4:50am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a car fire on Scholes Lane, Scholes, Rotherham at 9:15pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 10:15pm.

Sunday 30 April

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 1:30am on Elm Road, Auckley, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:15am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 1:45am on Wordsworth Avenue, Dinnington, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 2:10am.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended an accidental car fire at 8:25am at Keepmoat Stadium, Lakeside, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 8:50am.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 4:55pm on Hoyle Mill Road, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew came away at 5:35pm.

Three fire crews from Parkway, Central and Birley Moor stations attended a premise at 6:40pm on Cary Road, Sheffield. It was an accidental fire involving the hob. The occupant was taken to hospital. Firefighters left the scene at 8:05pm.
