Overnight incidents 10/11 May 2022

Parkway firefighters were called out to trees and grass on fire at 7:05pm on Finchwell Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left scene at 7:50pm.

Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:25pm on Ouseburn Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:50pm.

Stocksbridge firefighters attended a fire on scrub land at High Bank Lane, Thurlstone, Barnsley at 7:40pm. The cause of the fire is now known. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station were called out to an accidental grassland fire at 7:45pm on Leger Way, Wheatley Hills, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate grassland fire at 8:30pm on Dovecote, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:35pm.

A fence and wheelie bin were accidentally on fire at 8:55pm on Willoughby Street, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 9:10pm.

Rivelin firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grass and scrubland at 9pm on Godric Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 10pm on Bold Street, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 10:25pm.

Two fire crews from Rivelin and Central stations were called out to an accidental fire involving rubbish and ivy on a house on Hallam Grange Road, Sheffield at 10:35pm. The crews left the scene at 11:45pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth, Penistone and Rivelin stations attended a derelict building which had been deliberately set on fire on Cypress Road, Kendray, Barnsley at 10:55pm. The crews came away at 1:40am.

A quad bike was deliberately set on fire at 10:55pm on Grange Lane, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Two fire crews from Aston and Birley Moor stations were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 1:15am on Alderson Close, Swallownest, Rotherham. The crews came away at 1:35am.
