Overnight incidents 9/10 May 2022

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 7:05pm on Queen Avenue, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

A fire crew from Tankersley station attended a deliberate fire involving a tree stump at 8:50pm on Wentworth View, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:35pm.

Two fire crews from Central and Parkway stations were called out to an accidental fire involving wood and grass cuttings on Harwich Road, Sheffield at 9:10pm. The crews left the scene at 11:15pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:15pm on Cookson Park, Halliwell Crescent, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:35pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire on Bankwood Crescent, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:50pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Ewers Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 10:45pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 10:20pm on Greenland View, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10:40pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley station attended a rubbish fire at 10:30pm on Westwood New Road, Tankersley, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

Birley Moor station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:35pm on Norton Avenue, Sheffield. The crew came away at 12:05am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:05am on Station Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 1:50am.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 3:30am on Middle Bank, Lakeside, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 3:55am.
